Sid Gall entered into the Lord’s presence Thursday, April 7 in Manteca.

Born in Ripon to Mansfield Elmer and Harriet Elizabeth Gall, he was a lifelong resident at “The Ranch” on Highway  120 near Jack Tone Road. Sid attended Atlanta Elementary and Ripon High. He worked briefly at Spreckels Sugar in Manteca and then became a sales rep for Holt Brothers in Stockton, where he worked for 35 years.

Sid was a devoted Christian and shared his faith with others. He was an active member at Calvary Baptist Church in Manteca where he and his family joined in December of 1962. He passed out Bibles at school campuses with the Gideons.

He also visited troubled youth in juvenile hall and counseled men who needed a friend. Sid’s spiritual gifts were that of servant and mercy.

Sid was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly, and his sister, Arleene Bianchi.

He leaves 3 children and spouses;  Deanna Ugarkovich (Miles) of Manteca, Gary Gall (Sheilah) of Cameron Park, and Randy Gall (Anita) of Ripon, as well as 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, at Deegan Ripon Memorial

Chapel, 111 S. Palm Ave., Ripon. A private burial will be followed by a memorial

service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Ripon Grace Church, 734 W Main St., Ripon.
