Thomas Gerald Pettitt, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Thomas was born October 10,1952 in Sacramento, CA. 

   As a child, he moved a lot as his dad, Clint, worked all over California and parts of Arizona. In the 1970's. his family settled in Collegeville. By this time, Thomas  started working as a hard rock miner and spent much of his time on various job sites in California. In 1989, he and family friend, Janey Casey, began what would be 36 years of love and devotion.

    They settled down in Collegeville and raised three wonderful children: Casey Pettitt, Dustin Brookshire and Shane Brookshire. Tom loved dogs, guns, and the Ponderosa (20 acres of his farmland that he loved to hang out at and take walks around). He was very straight up with his words. His home was visited by the LDS missionaries often as he was known to have deep discussions about the Mormon history with them. 

   Thomas was preceded in death by his father Clint, his brother Kurt and his close cousin, Richard Pettitt. Along with Janey, Casey, Dustin and Shane, 

   Tom is survived by his favorite cousins Renee Pettitt, Rosie Lauritzen (Richard) and Chad Pettitt (Cassie) and his mother, Betty. Services will be private.
