William Allen Autler (Bill) 66, passed away February 22, 2012 in Vallejo, CA. Bill was born in Monterey Park, CA to Al & Jessie Autler, the second of five children.

Bill was preceded in death by his dad, brother Chris and son Brian. He is survived by his very loving wife Ana-Elvia, Mother, Jessie Autler of Twain Harte, sons; Allan and Kevin, step-sons; Enrique, Joel and Sergio, sister-in-law; Rosie, all from Vallejo. Grandchildren; Zoe, Leana and Marco. Sister Carol Aksland & husband Gary of Manteca, brothers; Ron and wife Joann of Twain Harte, brother Bob and wife Cindy of Manteca. Nieces; Tiffany, Carrie, Michelle, and Cathy, nephews; Jeff, Randy, Aaron, Clint, Aldo and Mario. Special friend, Art.

Bill graduated from Manteca High School in 1964 and worked as a mechanic. He was known for his ability for fabricating parts for various pieces of equipment that would have been discarded. He was especially proud of his 12 plus years with Kiewit Pacific Co. and the work he did on the Benicia Bridge project.

Bill enjoyed being with family and friends and especially loved playing in the park with his grandchildren. He liked target practice, hunting with brother Bob, and watching Nascar on Sunday’s with special friend Art. He also enjoyed spending time with his loving and very caring wife Elvia. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 29 at Twin Chapel Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo, CA.
