Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

Attention Manteca city council members and Mayor Steve DeBrum:

Have you traveled down Airport Way from Lathrop Road south to Yosemite Avenue and beyond lately? That drive is a disaster with torn up pavement that has been in need of repair for as long as I can remember yet goes untouched year after year.

Your priorities seem to be to continue to approve more homes being constructed to attract new people from wherever to Manteca. I for one would appreciate it if you would pay more attention to what needs to be done for the residents living here now. 

Airport Way, being one of the main north to south arteries in Manteca, is an embarrassment and does nothing to impress outsiders possibly considering a move to our fair city. 

If you haven’t done so lately, I suggest you take a drive down Airport Way and check it out and if you still don’t do anything then shame on you. Remember it is an  election year.
