TURLOCK — Three pitchers combined for a one-hit shutout for Sierra, which picked up another solid win in the Atch Pedretti Tournament on Friday 3-0 against host Pitman.
Jesse Babauta spearheaded the Timberwolves (4-1). He threw five no-hit innings and struck out three, Brandon Reis pitched the sixth and Jaden Pina secured the win and the save.
Babauta also keyed the offense. Sierra opened scoring in the first inning with his RBI single that plated Chase Sperbeck. Jacob Peterson later doubled the lead with a sacrifice fly in the fourth.
Then in the fifth, Babauta led off with a triple, and Mateo Molieri (singled) was sent home on a hit from Jesse Ortiz-Martinez. Babauta and Ortiz-Martinez were both 2 for 2, and the Timberwolves finished with seven hits.
Conner Havens got the lone hit for Pitman (1-4).
Sierra ends the three-day tournament at Gregori of Modesto today at 3 p.m.

Weston Ranch 17, Modesto Christian 0
SALIDA — The Cougars improved to 5-2 on Thursday with the one-sided victory.
The game ended up going the distance, and Weston Ranch rallied for nine runs in the top of the seventh.
Weston Ranch compiled 18 knocks on the day, and CJ Drain went 4 for 6 with a double, three runs and two RBIs. Austin Cappas went 3 for 3 with two walks and two runs. Carlos Drain slugged a three-run homer to highlight his 2-for-5 effort. Larry Martinez (three runs) and Manuel Rubio (two steals) each went 2 for 3.
Martinez was the winning pitcher, striking out five and walking none over five innings. Cappas pitched the final two frames and fanned four.

Millennium 0 (6)
RIPON — Ripon Christian continued its early-season roll, improving to 4-0.
Brock Nunes went 3 for 4 and drove in four runs. Kizer Vanderveer finished 2 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBIs.
Willem Hoekstra contributed a double, two runs and two RBIs offensively and also went the distance on the mound, striking out four. He walked none in a four-hitter.

CERES — The still-unbeaten Buffaloes (5-0) were anchored by their pitching Friday.
Rafael Diaz totaled seven strikeouts and no walks over six innings, and Austin Kovacs threw a perfect seventh for the save. They combined for a three-hitter.
Logan Quan and Diaz drove in the two runs.
