Erron Duncan led a punishing Weston Ranch ground attack Friday night with 16 carries for 220 yards and three touchdowns and the Cougars ran for 448 yards in 47-0 win over visiting Galt in non-league football action.
“We played a good four quarters of football,” Weston Ranch coach Seth Davis said. “But hopefully we will have a better week of practice next week and finish out our non-league schedule on a positive note.
Duncan scored on runs of 12, 25 and 40 yards. Brandon Granado added 170 yards to the ground attack for the Cougars (2-0), scoring on runs of 7 and 12 yards. Cinque Benn added a 45-yard touchdown catch from Terry Snipes and Cordillo Pollard returned a fumble 40 yards for a touchdown.
Pollard had three sacks and Malik Vega-Tatum an interception.
