STOCKTON — East Union helped host Chavez break in its new softball field Friday.
The mythical state champion in Division III made it a short stay, cruising to an 11-0 victory in five innings.

Michelle Castro anchored the attack with a 3-for-3 effort that included three runs, two RBIs, a triple, homer and three steals. Deja Guzman was 2 for 2 with two RBIs and a sacrifice fly. Izabella Owen added a triple.
