Max Gulart and Chase Stephenson combined to two-hit the Mountain House Braves and lead the Manteca A’s to a 10-0 four-inning win Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the District 67 Minor Tournament of Champions hosted by Spreckels Park Little League at Brock Elliott School.
Gulart pitched 2 2/3 innings, striking out six and giving up two hits. Stephenson came on in the third and induced a groundout to end the frame and struck out two in the fourth before the game ended on the mercy rule.
Tyler-Paul Wentworth and Matthew Murray were each 2 for 2 to lead the 17-hit attack for the A’s. Wentworth had a triple and a home run with four RBI and Nicolas Schatmeier had a two-RBI single. Gulart, Stephenson and Matthew Murray each had a double.
The A’s face the Tracy Yankees on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Brock Elliott in a semifinal contest.

Spreckels Park Red Sox 7
The Yankees used a five-run fourth inning to down the Red Sox.
Steven Aquila led Spreckels Park with a 3-for-3 outing, hitting a home run with two doubles. Tanner Davidson had an RBI single as part of a three-run second inning for the Red Sox and Aiden Burk had an RBI single and a run.
Caden Salas threw a scoreless fifth inning for Spreckels Park.
The Red Sox face Northgate in an elimination game this afternoon at 5:30.

Stephenson led the A’s to a 13-1 victory over Northgate on Sunday. He pitched a perfect inning and had a two-run home run along with a single. Justin Crawford had an RBI single that scored Matthew Murray in a five-run fourth for Manteca.
Branden Molthen went three innings for the A’s and struck out four, walked five and allowed two hits with a run.
