One more to go.

Manteca High’s girls tennis team clinched sole possession of the Valley Oak League championship on Wednesday with its 9-0 shutout of East Union and will go after a second straight perfect run today when Oakdale visits.

Also the reigning Sac-Joaquin Section Division III titlists, the Buffaloes (13-0 VOL, 15-1 overall) have blanked opponents in 11 of their 13 league matches and twice defeated second-place Sierra, 8-1.

Their reign of terror resumed Wednesday with four singles players — Julia Tang, Makenna Condit, Sahiba Kaur and Stephania Mercado — all winning, 6-0, 6-0. Koryn Menasco beat Isabella Moreno 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, while Navina Mann won 6-0, 6-1 over Jennifer Garcia at No. 6.
