EAST PALO ALTO - For the better part of two weeks the Ripon Christian Knights just kept on winning.

Even when they weren’t supposed to the Lady Knights won. Then the run came to a sudden halt Saturday in a 47-26 loss to Eastside College Prep.

The CIF Northern California playoff loss brought an impressive Ripon Christian season to an end. The Knights seemed up to the daunting task of playing with the Panthers in their home gym as they trailed by a basket after one quarter. A sluggish second period would do Ripon Christian (22-6) in, falling behind double-digits by the half, and putting up just five points in the pivotal third period. The Panthers (16-14) built a 22-point lead going into the fourth and never relinquished it.

Panther standout Destiny Graham led all scorers with 18 points.

Ripon Christian, the Southern League co-champions with a 13-1 record, completed its third consecutive trip to the postseason and second trip to the CIF state championships over the same period.
