Beidleman powers Knights blowout win over Packers

Jace Beidleman and Preston Zuidervaart connected for two touchdowns Saturday to lead the Ripon Knights novice to a 41-19 Trans Valley Youth Football League win at Ripon Christian High School.

Beidleman was 11 of 13 passing for 189 yards and also scored two touchdowns on the ground, gaining 45 yards on six carries. Zuidervaart had four receptions for 78 yards, Rey Galindo three 3 receptions for 58 yards, Dawson Downs three receptions for 33 yards and Carson Sanders one receptions for 20 yards.

Hunter Steele had a 13-yard touchdown run for the Knights and Carson Sanders scored from two yards out.

Andrew Mensonides and Sanders had six tackles apiece. Anden Ries (fumble recovery) added five tackles, Preston Zuidervaart and Rey Galindo four stops each and Carson Bunnell (fumble recovery), Mario Garcia and Hunter Steele three apiece. 

Beidleman, Matthew Chapman, Jacob Camper, Dawson Downs and Owen Wilbur also contributed on defense for Ripon.

Dax Beidleman, Landon Corcoran, Gavin Decena, Jack Peters and Michael Evens each scored a touchdown for Ripon.  Josh Jacobson, Braden Schaapman, Junior Rodriguez, Jax Booth, and Dylan Parker worked hard on the offensive line for the Knights.

Kaeo Sanchez, Van Brian Hendrix, Izaac San Nicolas, Jaiden Rodriguez, Jaiden Chandar, Alex Rader, David Rowe and Mason Durao led the Ripon defense and did not allow the Packers to score.
