Edible Science event set for Oct. 13 in Lodi

LODI — The World of Wonders Science Museum is staging “Edible Science” - an event mixing science and culinary arts.

Well-known local chefs will explore the chemical and physical transformations of edible ingredients with the newest trend in cooking—molecular gastronomy. The evening will also feature an auction, raffle and fine wines. The event in support of the World of Wonders Science Museum is on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. Call 209.368.0969 for tickets.

It is a 21 and older event with the cost is $45 per person or $80 per couple. Small business and large corporation sponsorships are available.

The World of Wonders Science Museum is located in Historic Downtown Lodi at 2 N. Sacramento Street. The doors officially opened in March of 2009 through the generous support of the community, sponsors and volunteers.

Hours are Wednesday thru Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
