Entries are now being accepted for the San Joaquin AgFest Junior Livestock and Auction that will take place June 11-17, 2017 at the San Joaquin county fairgrounds.

The junior show and auction has a website, www.sanjoaquinagfest.org that will allow exhibitors to view the Exhibitor Guidebook and complete the entry process for livestock, welding, wood, horticulture, entomology and floriculture project competition online.

Entry deadline is midnight May 15.  All San Joaquin County 4-H, FFA, Grange and independent youth with projects in the beef, swine, sheep, goats, dairy, rabbits, poultry, turkeys and dog areas are eligible to participate.

The website also Farm to Fork Dinner details, sponsor forms and a “Donate Now” feature that is easily accessible.  The daily AgFest show and auction schedule is posted on-line and is updated as new events and contests are added to the six day event.

Sponsorship funds are still needed to execute the show and those interested can complete the forms directly on the website, according to Jeff Wagner, the president of the San Joaquin AgFest Junior Livestock and Auction Council.  “This is an important event for the agricultural youth in our county and they need our support to make this show and auction a great event,” he stated.

The San Joaquin AgFest Junior Livestock & Auction is an independent event put on by an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to support and promotion of 4-H and FFA, and the future of our children and our nation.
