Four turkey drives taking place Saturday in Manteca

There are four turkey collections taking place on Saturday to help make sure struggling families have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.

The collection sites are:

*Food 4 Less on Spreckels Avenue where the Stuff the Bus event is taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*SaveMart on West Yosemite Avenue where the Spreckles Park Little League event is taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
*Northgate Little League’s concession stand at 1811 Hoyt Lane from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Manteca Safeway on South Main Street is where the Fill the Fire Truck event conducted by the Manteca Firefighters Association takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All sites will accept monetary donations, frozen turkeys, and canned goods.
