February is the month of love.
The Ray of Hope Children’s Crisis and Resource Services-San Joaquin County is taking that a step further by hosting its annual “Diapers & More Drive” from now through March 20.
Needed are diapers, wipes, baby formula, bottles, hygiene products, and gently used clothing.
“Join us in helping meet the basic needs of babies and toddlers in crisis,” said Ray of Hope via social media.
Executive Director Laura Saunders has long been concerned about her referrals, in particular the health risks associated with poor hygiene for babies and toddlers.
Included are the risks that they face in not having access to clean diapers – rashes, urinary tract infection, bladder infection, and kidney infection, to name a few, are among the serious issues here.
Donations for Diapers & More can be dropped off at the Ray of Hope office at 113 W. Yosemite Ave., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.
