SACRAMENTO  — Due to popular demand, the weekend “Sacramento City: California’s Gold Rush Legacy”  Old Sacramento walking tours have been extended through Aug. 24.  

It is an opportunity to learn more about the history-rich buildings in Old Sacramento that hold clues to California’s fascinating Gold Rush 

In addition to the popular underground tours underway, there is one “Sacramento City: California’s Gold Rush Legacy Tour” walking tour available each day on Saturday and Sunday.  All walking tour guests check-in at the Sacramento History Museum to start the engaging journey into Old Sacramento’s past.

The start time is 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The cost is $5 for adults and youths; children 5 and under are free
