Manteca Ford earns Assembly business honors

Assemblymember Kristin Olsen, R-Modesto, honored Phil Waterford’s Manteca Ford and Exotic High Line as 2014 Small Business of the Year at an event held in Manteca.

“I am proud to honor Phil for his contribution of good paying jobs, quality service, and his commitment to making Manteca as well as the Central Valley such a great place to live,” Olsen said. “Few people have dedicated as much time and resources to the community as Phil Waterford.”

The Small Business of the Year award is given annually in each Assembly and Senate district across the state to honor small businesses in California that are improving the economy and making a difference in their communities. Phil Waterford’s Manteca Ford has made donations to many local organizations that focus their efforts on those in need.

“I am honored to have received the Small Business of the Year award from Assemblymember Olsen stated Waterford. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been granted and truly believe that it is the duty and the privilege of each of us to pass our blessings along to those who need them. Through God’s grace, I hope to be afforded many more chances to do so. Thank you Kristin Olsen who is an excellent public servant that represents the 12th Assembly District of California with honesty and integrity.”

Olsen  is recognized as a solution-focused reformer. She represents the 12th Assembly District in the California Legislature, which includes portions of Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties.
