Born on March 26, 1929 in Westminster, CA, Alfonso Limas, entered into rest on December 7, 2020 in Manteca, CA. Alfonso is preceded in death by his wife Bernadine Limas.
   Alfonso and Bernadine met after his return from service and married on April 16,1955 and started their family.
   Alfonso is survived by his loving family, children Desiree Barringer (Phil), Richard Limas and Lauri John (Mike), grandchildren Angela Ott, Stephanie Hoffman, Gina McCay, Brad Evans III ,Jennifer Evans and Michaela John, great-grandchildren Carlie, Catie, Chad, Trey, Ashlynn, Tommy, David, Addison, Matthew and Megan, Landon and Jacob, and  great-great- grandchildren Emery and Ella.
   Alfonso was a 79 year resident of Manteca attending Manteca High School, where he played both baseball and football. He proudly served his county through the United States Army. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, the local Carpenters Union, and the Old Geezers Club at Manteca High School. He worked as a carpenter nearly 45 years in Manteca and took pride in his work. Alfonso was a reserved man who enjoyed tending to his yard, working on projects, taking his wife dancing, and most of all, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren . He loved attending all of their sports practices and games, he was always so proud of their hard work and commitment. Above all, Alfonso loved and supported his wife, children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  He loved them unconditionally.
