Mr. Billie Ray Faulkner, 73, passed away peacefully at home from cancer July

27th 2012. He was born April 22, 1939 in Hazard, Kentucky. He lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ft. Benning, Georgia, Ft. Bragg, South Carolina, San Francisco, and Stockton before settling in Manteca, California in 1971. He was shop foreman for Silva Trucking in French Camp (1972-1982) and the co-owner of Fran’s

Creative Upholstery until retiring in 2006. Bill was a member of the Stockton Motorcycle Club and a longtime Scout Master for Troop #435 in Manteca. He was an active member of Lathrop Baptist Church, the Salvation Army, and an ordained

minister of the United Evangelistic Fellowship Inc.

Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years Frances B. Faulkner, daughters Carol (Marvin) Johnson, Sherry(Gary)

Scharmann and Penny (Steve) Jones and son,

Billie D. Faulkner, 15

grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a very large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Cash, mother Nettie,

brothers, Raymond, Kenneth and sister Mary June.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy, is honored to serve the

Faulkner Family. Visitation will held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 12 noon

followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm. Mr. Faulkner will be laid to rest
