Edward P Hughes passed away on February 14, 2012 in Manteca, CA. He was born on August 16, 1922 in Emmett, ID and lived in Manteca for 46 years. Ed was a carpenter for 40 years in the Los Angeles and Bay Area.

He was a member of the First Asembly of God, a place of refuge. Edward was in the US Navy and Merchant Marines during WWII. He was a very loving person and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children Leloni Parrish of Vancover, WA, Kathy Blair and Nancy Johnson, both of Manteca, CA. He is also survived by his half sister Bonnie Jean Hughes, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00AM at Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA 95336.

Park View Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
