Flor Velia Robles, 52, of Lathrop passed away in Modesto on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 of natural causes. She was  born on November 30, 1956 in Zacatecas, Mexico, and has lived in Lathrop  for 10 years.  

Flor was a hospice nurse for 15years. She attended St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, her passion was music, and she loved her music. Flor enjoyed life. She was always laughing, she was the life of the party and very funny. She enjoyed being with her family and going on vacations with her family to Mexico. She was  very protective over her family, and was very strong till the end and  had strong family values.  

She is survived by her husband  of 25 years Carlos Robles of Lathrop, her children Florecita Robles  and Carla Robles, both of Lathrop; 1 grandchild; her siblings Humberto Perez-Diaz, Carlos Perez-Diaz, Sandra Perez-Diaz, Sonia Perez-Diaz,  Luz Elizabeth Pedroza-Diaz, all of Mexico, and Angel Perez-Diaz of Tracy;  her parents Flora Diaz and Francisco Pedroza, both of Mexico.  

She was preceded in death by  her father, the late Humberto Perez-Pena.  

Visitation for Flor will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 2 to 7 p.m., then a vigil to follow  at 7 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave Tracy, Ca 95376. Mass  of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church,  163 W. Eaton Ave. Tracy, Ca 95376. Burial will be private.
