Linda was a 50-year resident of French Camp. In 2000 she decided to make her new home in Walnut Creek to be closer to her sons. In the early 1960s Linda worked for Macy’s department store in Stockton as a retail clerk, retiring after 30 years of service. When her children were younger Linda and her family attended St. George’s Catholic Church in Stockton. She loved traveling with her family.  Some of her favorite places were Europe, Asia and Mexico. Dancing was Linda’s passion; she always showed enthusiasm on the dance floor, while her smile lit up the room. She was an avid reader, wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. She was a classy lady always “dolled up” from head to toe. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.

P.L. Fry and son is honored to be serving the Almaguer family. A visitation will be on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 9 a.m. followed a Rosary/Mass at 10 a.m.  Both will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 19401 HWY 120 (Yosemite Ave) Escalon. She will be laid to rest at the adjoining St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
