Natividad Lucio “Louie” Mejia, 20, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 24, 2012 just 2 days after his 20th birthday. He was born in French Camp to Natividad and Maricela Mejia of Manteca. In heaven he joins grandfather J. Natividad Mejia.

Louie leaves behind the broken hearts of his parents, as well as his siblings; Adrienne Mejia, Alonzo Mejia and Liliana Mejia. He is the grandson of Maria de Jesus Mejia and Feliciano and Maria Galvan. Louie was deeply loved by his aunts and uncles; Elva Mejia, Juan Galvan, Gabriel Galva, Roberto Galvan, Martha Galvan, Obdulia Galvan, Blanca Galvan, Berta Galvan and Irma Galva. Louie also leaves many cousins who will remember their cousin Louie forever.

Louie attended Ripona Elementary and then went on to be class of 2011 at Ripon High School. #21 in football, Louie excelled and his talent and athleticism never went unnoticed. He enjoyed working out and made it part of his everyday life. Louie enjoyed spending time with his friends. He was a free spirit and his optimistic personality always let you know that “everything will be ok”. He was the pride and joy of his parents and admired big brother to his siblings. Louie was loved by his family, classmates and friends. He will be missed, as his memory will be treasured forever.

Arrangements for Louie are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at P.L. Fry. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 East Hwy 120, Ripon, CA. A mass of Christian burial will be Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. For condolences to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com.
