Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
My name is Sue White. I am a member of Preceptor Omicron Epsilon of Beta Sigma Phi, Manteca. We are hosting a Pet Shower for Pets & Pals in Lathrop. You may ask what is a Pet Shower? Well it is like a baby shower. You bring gifts for the shelter. We are inviting the community to come out and bring an item that the shelter needs or just make a donation to Pets & Pals. We will offer refreshments, games for the children, a donation drawing and who knows you might even find a new best friend.
Please join us Saturday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pets & Pals Animal Shelter, 12488 S. Harlan Road, Lathrop, CA 95330.
Pets & Pals Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to the welfare of animals since 1947. They receive no state or county funding. All income is donated by private individuals. Their goal is not to simply find homes for animals, but to find the best permanent homes possible for the animals.
Pets & Pals provides a relaxed atmosphere where they can have sunshine, exercise, food and shelter. You really have to see the shelter. It is a beautiful place for animals. Please come out and join us to help Pets & Pals and have some fun.
For more information, please contact Sue White at (209) 629-7984 or Debbie Trabucco at 688-6121.
