Editor, Manteca Bulletin We read with great sympathy and distress the letter to the Bulletin by Mel Upton about the savage death of his pet Yorkie Terrier, due to unrestrained pit bulls attacking their 7-pound Yorkie. This was a sad and all too common event. Not much more than a week later on Valentine’s Day my wife was walking our beloved Border Terrier, all of 18 pounds, along the bike trail that extends into our neighborhood in Union Ranch.
