Jace Beidleman imposed his will in Ripon Christian’s 79-52 non-league win at Stone Ridge Christian of Merced on Monday.
The 6-foot-9 center accumulated 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks as the visiting Knights (11-5) dominated much of the non-league tilt. They jumped ahead 33-26 after a competitive first half but led by as much as 27, 70-43, in the fourth quarter.
Jake Vander Veen added 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Amos Cady collected 14 points, seven boards and four assists. Mason Tameling tallied 12 points, three rebounds and three assists while dropping down three 3s.
Daijon O’Neil fired 19 points for Stone Ridge (11-6).
Sierra 59, Kimball 49
Anthony Grady poured in 17 points, as the Timberwolves (1-0, 11-6 overall) tipped off the Valley Oak League season on a positive note.
Josh Seals and Emil Esperanza both drained a pair of 3s, finishing with 12 and eight points, respectively.
Manteca 52, Oakdale 26
The Buffaloes (1-0 VOL, 11-6 overall) won the second quarter 16-3 and dominated the third 15-5 to create separation.
Peyton Neiman headed a balanced effort with 13 points. Evani Gaeta had eight points and six boards. Garrison Reis added seven points, while Micah Crawford and L.J. Legan each scored six.
Ripon 54, Hilmar 40
Landon Gillespie registered 11 points, five rebounds and four assists as the Indians (2-0, 13-5) rolled to the Trans-Valley League home win.
A 19-point second quarter opened up a 29-10 lead for Ripon, which had eight different players score points. Dawson Downs pitched in with 10 points and five rebounds, Marcus Madoski had nine, and Jack Schoolland (seven rebounds) and Ethan Bauer (four steals) each scored eight.
Sophomore guard Xavier Silveira scored 14 points to lead the Yellowjackets (0-2, 5-13).

East Union 2, Central Catholic 2
Chloe Silva had a goal and an assist, as the Lancers (0-0-1, 5-6-2 overall) tied their first Valley Oak League game of the season.
Tallon Cervantez scored the other goal, and Jenna Campbell had an assist. Avery Jones put away both goals for Central Catholic (0-0-1, 8-5-2).
Lathrop 4, Grace Davis 0
After a scoreless first half, the Spartans (3-0 Western Athletic Conference, 6-4 overall) got two goals each from Elizabeth Enriquez-Lopez and Janessa Ward.

Jorge Garcia, Ociel Mora and Alan Hernandez each scored a goal as the Spartans (3-1-0, 9-4-3 overall) notched the WAC win.
Oliver Hernandez assisted brother Alan’s goal to help spark Lathrop in the second half. Grace Davis (1-3-0, 7-6-3) played a man down in the second half after a player earned a red-card ejection.

Ripon Christian 41, Stone Ridge Christian 24
Ripon Christian (8-6) held host Stone Ridge (7-5) to four or less points in each of the first three quarters and led 36-11 going into the fourth.
Reagan Vander Hoek racked up 20 points, 18 rebounds and three steals. Allison Copland contributed eight points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Julian Ruiz led Sierra’s balanced scoring with 13 points. Colby Vueve added 10 points for the Timberwolves (1-0 VOL, 13-4 overall).
Cody Camarena contributed nine points on three 3s. Anthony Mayorga and A.J. Chapman added seven apiece.
Oakdale 58, Manteca 55
Manteca came up short despite a 17-point outburst from Jeremiah Orona. Antonio Fraley and Devon Richardson chipped in 11 apiece.

Kimball 66, Sierra 56
The Timberwolves (0-1 VOL, 8-6 overall) led by 12 at halftime but were outscored 23-9 in the fourth quarter.
The defeat spoiled a 25-point 13-rebound effort from Isaac Kempf. Karanbir Bhandal tallied 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. Ryan Alves made three 3s for his nine points. Isaiah Revives knocked down two 3s and finished with eight points.
Oakdale 51, Manteca 41
Oakdale pulled away from a close game in the final minutes. Shahab Safi scored 13 points for Manteca, and David Grisham had eight.
