Brandon Pine had a stellar outing at the plate and on the hill to lead the Orioles past the A’s 15-1 in Northgate Triple-A action.

Pine was 3 for 3 with a pair of home runs, a double and six RBI while striking out eight in 3 2/3 innings with four walks and a run. Josh Seals was also 3 for 3, hitting a  ground-rule double. Collins Schluer doubled and came in to get the final out which he did with a strikeout. George Mendoza had a triple to score Cody Lee who and Alijah Salas had an RBI.

Pirates 12, Giants 6

The Pirates used pitching by committee with Nolan Mix and Shane Turpin throwing two innings each and Gabriel Mantua one.

Mix and Mantua both tripled while Kyle Vanarsdell and Devin Graber each had a single.
