Vinny Diaz led the Manteca Jr. Buffaloes to a 26-13 win over the Tracy Buccaneers on Saturday in avenging an earlier season loss to the Buccaneers and to the third straight Central Valley Youth Football and Cheer Super Bowl victory at Stagg High in Stockton.
Diaz racked up 190 yards on 10 carries with touchdown runs of 14, 19, 44 and 46 yards. Brach Carabello totaled 90 yards passing with Navi Murillo pulling down two receptions for 60 yards. The offensive line of Colin Calkins, Francisco Diaz, Israel Juarez, Ja’syn Turner, Grayson Calvillo-Nolan and fullback John Ellis open holes all night.
Diaz led the defense as well with nine tackles. Aiden Freitas added seven stops, Grayson Keller six, Ellis and Aizen English five apiece and Kristian Miranda four.

Manteca’s Dennis Jet Johnson scored a pair of touchdowns.
Johnson pulled in a 45-yard touchdown pass from A.J. Haines and returned an interception 45 yards for a score. Quinnie Dunbar (six carries, 71 yards) scored on a 30-yard run and Jayden Jordan returned a kickoff 60 yards for a score.
Dunbar tallied eight tackles, Adrian Reyes-Echeverria and Gabriel Torres each six apiece; Dre Johnson, and Blake Esteves five each and Mateo Mena, Jayden Jordan, Jayden Shortridge, and Jet Johnson, and Sir Fields four apiece. Christopher Duenas Jr., Wyatt Hernandez and Gio Riego all contributed to the defense.

Manteca not only made it through the season undefeated; the Jr. Buffaloes did not allow a touchdown to be scored against them.
Brixxton Fryer (14 carries, 136 yards) scored on runs of 4 and 50 yards and Carter Louis (10 carries, 113 yards) added a pair of touchdowns from 22 and 34 yards.
Manteca’s Jose Cortez Jr. made six stops, Louis, Tate Gallardo, Malachi Wright, and Fryer four apiece and Kota Lang and Kayden Edwards added three stops each. Jace Texeira and Angelo Lopez contribute to the defense.
Trans-Valley Youth Football League
Ripon Knights novice 13, Patterson Jr. Tigers 0
The Knights won the TVYFL Atlantic Division championship in a quagmire at Le Grand High School, avenging a three-point loss to the Jr. Tigers earlier this year.
Lucas Durao scored both Ripon touchdowns, the first on a 75-yard run in the second quarter and the other to open the final period on a 27-yard pass from Mearl Thompson.
There was hard blocking for the Knights up front from Nathaniel Grimaldo, Logan Stirrat, Levi Reeder, Jaxson Quilantang, Makaio Jackson, Hunter Margreiter and Brayden Bettencourt.
