MODESTO – Evyn White was the lone Manteca Jr. Timberwolf to score two touchdowns Saturday in a 52-0 win over the Central Valley Outlaws in Northern California Youth Football varsity action

 White (four carries, 41 yards) scored on runs of 3 and 19 yards. Keanu Duenas (six carries, 93 yards) had a 15-yard touchdown run, Tommy Perea (eight carries, 72 yards) had a 4-yard scoring run and Alijah Cota (six carries, 65 yards) had a 1-yard scoring plunge. Jason Garcia scored from 1 yard out and Jaden Ceja-Moreno had a 17-yard scoring run.

 White led the Manteca defense with six tackles. Jason Agulay added five stops, Adrian Rios and 

Tyler Looney four apiece and Keanu Duenas (fumble recovery) three. Jack Cunial made an nterception and Dominic Ferreira-Moniz recovered a fumble. 

 

Manteca Cowboys 22, Tracy Buccaneers 13

 The Cowboys scored all of their points in the first half with Keona Cayode leading the way at Dino Cunial Field.  

 Keona Cayode tallied 205 all-purpose yards with 12 carries for 160 yards and touchdown runs of 52 and 65 yards. Cayode also added 25 return yards and 20 yards receiving.

 Emilio Perez (10 carries for 55 yards) added a 30-yard touchdown run. Dylan Lee was 5 of 10 passing for 78 yards and Angel Ramirez had three catches for 58 yards.

Cayode led the Manteca defense with seven tackles. Colton Stonum (fumble recovery, interception) added six stops, Indervir Sandhu five, Angel Ramirez (forced fumble), Emilio Perez and Nickolas Luna four each and Nicholas Ward three. Ace Avelar and Marques Callahan each had an interception and two tackles. 

 

Junior Varsity

Cowboys 33, Buccaneers 8 

 Bryson Davis scored three touchdowns for the Cowboys.

 Davis tallied 166 yards with 15 carries with scoring runs of 20, 24 and 33 yards. Omar Diaz (six completions, 75 yards) connected with Landon Butler for a 21-yard touchdown pass and after forcing and recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff, Gabriel Flores (eight carries, 54 yards) capped the ensuing drive with a 3-yard scoring plunge.

 Isaac Alvarez racked up 15 tackles for Manteca. Davis added 12 stops; Joshua Seals and Blake Mount nine; Santana Stevenson (interception), Landon Butler (interception) and Ivan Alvarez eight each; Morgan Barcliff and Gavin Goodwin seven apiece; Donovan Jones (three deflected passes) five and Julian Perez four. Mauricio Zaupa recovered a fumble forced by Morgan Barcliff and Erik Ochoa Recovered a fumble forced by Joshua Seals.

 

Rookies 

Cowboys 33, Buccaneers 0

 Jeremy Ap’e had a pair of 14-yard touchdown runs for the Cowboys.

 Ap’e tallied 77 yards on 10 carries. Anthony Morales (six completions, 104 yards) hit Nikko Juarez with a 67-yard touchdown pass, Dylan Stonum (five carries, 45 yards) scored on a 25-yard run and Christopher Gallego (four carries, 25 yards) had a 5-yard touchdown run. Robbie Espinosa added 35 yards on six carries. 

 Stonum led the stingy Manteca defense with 10 tackles. Gallego had seven stops, Gabriel Lopez five, Ap’e and Koa Rodrigues four each and Nikko Juarez (interception) and Devin Downey three apiece. 

 

Starts

Timberwolves 42 - Outlaws 0

Brody Carabello was in on four touchdowns for the Timberwolves.

 Carabello (154 yards passing; three carries, 100 yards) had 52-yard touchdown passes to Leiland Riggelman and Rudy Torres and one of 42 yards to Elijah Pugh along with 60-yard touchdown run. Riggelman added a 35-yard scoring run and Kendall Sweet-Mallory scored from 28 yards out. 

Carabello (three tackles, fumble recovery), Pugh and Santino Sanchez paced the Manteca defense. 

 

Buccaneers 13, Cowboys 6

The Buccaneers scored 13 points in the fourth quarter for their come-from-behind win. 

Elias Lopez had 52 yards on 16 carries with a 1-yard scoring plunge for the Cowboys. Landon Sanders (34 yards) and Kaleb Moreno (24 yards) had six carries each. 

Sanders made seven tackles, Daniel Bass Jr. six, Lopez five and Isaac Estrada four.

 Trans-Valley Youth Football League Varsity

Ripon Knights 38,

Denair Lions 7

 RIPON – Blake Nichelson led the Knights offense with 143 yards and two scores on three carries.

Thys Vanderhoek caught a 25-yard touchdown from Trey Fasani, Jacob Cormier had 114 rushing yards and Derek Vanelderen had four conversion kicks. 

 Blake Nichelson had eight tackles for Ripon and Stanley Kensic had six. 

 

Junior Varsity

Knights 36, Lions 0

Jace Beidleman and Preston Zuidervaart combined for two touchdowns for the Knights.

Beidleman was 9 for 13 passing for 66 yards and Zuidervaart had 38 yards receiving. Carson Sanders (78 yards rushing) scored on a 44-yard run, Jacob Camper had a 35-yard scoring run, Stephen Dillman (39 yards rushing, 10 yards receiving) had a touchdown run and Anden Ries picked up 44 yards rushing and 18 yards receiving. Chase Bogetti was 3 for 5 on conversion kicks

Cade Gemmell paced the lights-out Ripon defense with seven tackles followed by Camper (fumble recovery, six stops), Sanders (five stops), Anden Ries (forced fumble, four tackles) and Andrew Mensonidis and Rey Galindo (two tackles each).


Novice

Knights 12, Lions 7 

 Landon Corcoran scored the go-ahead touchdown for the Knights with 2 minutes left in the game. 

 Corcoran finished with 11 carries for 64 yards and Mason Durao had a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jack Peters in the first quarter and Gavin Decena had 11 carries for 42 yards.

 Ripon’s Dax Beidlman made five tackles and Justin Hernandez-Olaiz, Levi Ayala and Jax Booth had four stops each. 

 

Cen-Cal Varsity

Los Banos Wildcats 42,

Manteca Raiders 13

 Louis Sequeira forced a fumble and returned it 29 yards for a Raiders touchdown.

 Moises Alvarado led Manteca with 12 tackles and an interception. Mason Gibson added 10 tackles David Flores Melo five, Justin Tisdell and Andrew Yzaguirre four each, Sequeira (interception),  Benjermin Guerrero and David Talavera three apiece and Gonzalo Galvan and David Esquviel two each.

 

Junior Varsity

Wildcats 26, Raiders 0

The Raiders held the Wildcats scoreless for the first half. 

Nathan Cedolini, Daniel Huerta and Carson Rich paced the Manteca offense. 

 Samuel Avila III had 18 tackles for the Raiders. Eduardo Ramirez added 14 stops, Ivan Huerta 11 and Anthony Grady 10.

 

PeeWees

Wildcats 32, Raiders 0

 Issac Covarrabuis, Aeryk Snyder, David Paras, Sergio Hernandez and Marshal Singleton led the Raiders offense.

 Jordan Murphy made four tackles and Sergio Hernandez three for Manteca. Geno Acevedo, Issac Covarrubias, Aeryk Snyder, Jacob Ramirez, David Paras and Jose Rivera all chipped in on defense.

 

Rookies

Raiders, Wildcats  (No score kept at this level)

 Kristian Miranda and Ayden Brush each had a touchdown for the Raiders. Miranda had 55 rushing yards and six tackles and Brush and Dominick Flores made three tackles each. DeAndre Patterson added 50 yards on five carries.


Motherlode Valley Football League Junior Varsity

Ripon Chiefs 45,

Linden Lions 6

Tyler-Paul Wentworth scored three touchdowns for the Chiefs while Garrison Reis, Xzavier Clark and Kaden MacDannald all scored two touchdowns apiece.

Reis (5 of 8 passing, 85 yards) had touchdown throws of 6 yards to Wentworth and 28 yards to Clark (three receptions, 58 yards). Wentworth added scoring runs of 5 and 16 yards and MacDannald (five carries, 123 yards) had a 65-yard scoring run and a 25-yard scoring pass to Clark. Jesus Ochoa returned a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown.

Rylan McDonald and Seth Van Dyk led the Ripon defense with five tackles. Ochoa and Reis added four stops and Fernando Alaniz three. Mateo Elisary recovered a fumble.
