Six players scored for the Manteca Jr. Buffaloes varsity Saturday in a 42-0 Central Valley Youth Football and Cheer win over the host Mudville Outlaws at Stagg High School in Stockton
Vinny Diaz (three carries, 118 yards) scored on runs of 40 and 60 yards, Brach Carabello (100 yards passing) hit Navi Murillo (three catches, 40 yards) with a 10-yard scoring pass, John Ellis scored on a 3-yard run, Kristian Miranda ran for a 13-yard touchdown and Grayson Keller returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown.
Ellis (interception), Aiden Freitas Grant Catalano made five tackles apiece, Diaz four and Keller three with two fumble recoveries.
Ceres Cowboy 25, Manteca Cowboys 19 (OT)
Manteca’s Jackson Coenenberg threw for two touchdowns at Manteca High.
Coenenberg (5 of 10 passing, 82 yards) hit Aiden Howe with a 26-yard scoring and Noah Cedano with one of 56 yards. Howe (six carries, 24 yards) added a 2-yard touchdown run. Mateo Salcido ran for 89 yards on 18 carries.
Cedano (fumble recovery) made five tackles with three apiece for Paul Hayter and
Jaxon Martin. Aiden Howe, Mateo Montez, Chad Lombaro, Jack Benedetti, Josiah Hopkins, Naca Bluehorse, David Espinosa and Kaleb Nunes all contributed on defense.
Lathrop Spartans 46, Riverbank Outlaws 0
Lathrop’s Logan Martinez scored two touchdowns at Riverbank High School.
Martinez (two carries, 152 yards; two receptions, 34 yards) scored on runs of 66 and 86 yards.
Alluis Lopez (five carries, 75 yards) added a 10-yard touchdown run.
Lopez made three interceptions and five tackles for the Spartans. Logan Martinez added 11 tackles and Juan Pablo Flores (interception) five.
Junior varsity
Buffaloes 33, Mudville Outlaws 12
Manteca’s A.J. Haynes threw for one touchdown and ran for another.
Haines hit Jet Johnson with a 41-yard touchdown pass and ran for a 27-yard score. Dreyden Johnson ran for a 34-yard touchdown, Jayden Jourdan scored from 38 yards out and Quinnie Dunbar raced 65 yards for a score.
Jeremiah Silva and Jayden Shortridge made three stops apiece for the Buffaloes and Sebastian Barroga recovered a fumble.
Cowboys 16, Jr. Bulldogs 6
C.J. Stevens and German Patron each scored a Manteca touchdown.
A.J. Aguirre totaled 52 yards on six carries and Ruben Cedano added 25 yards on five carries.
Ivan Torres, Abel George and Cedano made six tackles apiece, Aguirre five with four apiece for Emilio Covarrubias, Hudson Green and Jaden Grimal.
Spartans 28, Riverbank Outlaws 0
Lathrop used a balanced attack for the shutout.
Dominic Ramos (five carries, 55 yards) scored on a 36-yard run, Jordan Romo (five carries, 45 yards) scored on a 25-yard run and Ashton Gamtan (three carries, 44 yards) added a 2-yard scoring plunge.
Ethan Jones made eight tackles, Jace Williams (forced fumble, fumble recovery) added six stops and Claudio River (interception) seven.
Rookies
Jr. Buffaloes 40, Mudville Outlaws 6
Manteca’s Jeremiah Williams and Jesse Arceo scored two touchdowns apiece and rushed for more than 300 yards.
Williams (12 carries, 185 yards) scored on runs of 35 and 60 yards while Arceo (17 carries, 142 yards) added touchdown runs of 21 and 34 yards. Galloped for a 50-yard score and Michael Somera scored on a 6 yard run.
Arceo made three tackles. Michael Somera, James Gordley, and Evan Hernandez each contributed to the defense.
Cowboys 20, Jr. Bulldogs 19
Manteca scored 14 fourth-period points for the come-from-behind win.
Alejandro Hernandez (230 yards passing) connected with Aaron Hernandez (172 yards receiving) for three Buffaloes touchdown passes.
Manteca’s Francisco Nieto II posted six tackles with five apiece for Layla Castillo and Aaron Hernandez. Reyes Noriega added three 3 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Jr. Spartans 33, Riverbank Outlaws 12
Lathrop’s Josh Certuche ran in a pair of touchdown.
Certuche (four carries for 35 yards) scored on runs of 10 and 12 yards. Marshall Johnwell (10 carries for 86 yards) pulled in a 6-yard touchdown catch and Artellious Jackson forced and recovered a fumble. Jasean Baker gained 25 yards on six carries.
Marshall Johnwell and Liam Sipp (fumble recovery) made five tackles apiece for the Spartans and Jackson added four stops.

Manteca’s Brixxton Fryer and Carter Louis scored two touchdowns apiece.
Fryer (11 carries, 162 total yards) scored on runs of 5 and 56 yards while Louis added touchdown runs of 31 and 51 yards. Malachi Wright added a 25-yard run and Tate Gallardo (three receptions, 64 yards) pulled in a 40-yard scoring pass from Jace Texeira.
Louis posted nine tackles with Fryer, Gallardo, Kayden Edwards, Dayson Powell, and Angelo Lopez all contributing on defense.

Manteca’s Austin Chaney ran for 82 yards.
The Cowboys’ Andrew Cypert ran for 33 yards rushing and threw a touchdown pass to Omar Castillo (37 rushing yards).
Manteca’s Aaron Perez made eight tackles, Ezekiel Mendez six and Jaxson George four.

Dawson (four carries, 84 yards) posted touchdown runs of 4 and 30 yards. Giovanni Sanchez (three carries, 51 yards) added a 24-yard touchdown and Rayce Collado (two carries, 65 yards) scored from 42 yards out.
Nicholas Stevens and Giovanni Sanchez tallied seven stops apiece for the Jr. Spartans and Leo Flores added six stops.
