LANCASTER. (AP) — Wes Rogers homered, doubled and singled twice, scoring three runs and driving home a couple as the Lancaster JetHawks beat the Stockton Ports 11-6 on Sunday.
Wilson Soriano tripled and singled twice with two RBIs for Lancaster.
Trailing 1-0, the JetHawks took the lead for good with three runs in the second inning. Chris Rabago hit an RBI triple and then scored on a single by Soriano en route to the two-run lead.
The JetHawks later added two runs in the fifth, four in the sixth, and two in the seventh to secure the victory.
Starter Brandon Gold (1-0) got the win while Evan Manarino (4-5) took the loss in relief in the California League game.
Argenis Raga doubled and singled for the Ports.
