WB Warehousing & Logistics is bringing 15 jobs to Manteca.

The San Joaquin Partnership helped site the Allenton, Wisconsin-based firm in Manteca in a 98,390-square-foot facility.

The firm is an affiliate of Kreilkamp Trucking and Kreilkamp Warehousing. The group specializes in material management, warehousing, and distribution services including pick and pack, bar coding, electronic data interchange, and automatic shipping notice. WB Warehousing and Logistics prides itself on being able to guarantee an accurate supply chain and inventory management tailored to meet specific customer needs. That runs the gamut from re-packaging and just-in-time services to labeling and e-commerce fulfillment.

They have four existing facilities - two  in West Bend, Wisconsin (250,000 square feet and 310,000 square feet); Allenton, Wisconsin (20,000 square feet of cold storage); and Edison, New Jersey (120,000 square feet).

Manteca supports the San Joaquin Partnership - a public-private consortium - with $35,000 a year in redevelopment agency funds.

The Partnership markets Manteca and the rest of the South County and Stockton as being at the “bulls eye” of 50 million consumers in western states that are within a 12 to 18 hours of truck time.

The bulls-eye moniker for those markets could be placed on the Northern San Joaquin Valley as a whole but Manteca is at the epicenter of that bulls-eye with:

•the Highway 120 Bypass connecting the main north-south West Coast freeway - Interstate 5 - and Highway 99 that has been dubbed “California’s Main Street of Commerce” based on the high volume of trucks moving goods.

• two major truck-to-rail-to-truck rail transfer points within 10 miles. One is the Union Pacific intermodal facility sandwiched between Lathrop and Manteca and the Santa Fe intermodal facility on North Austin Road east of Stockton Metro Airport.

•the Stockton Metro Airport that is growing as a cargo and a corporate jet facility is less than 10 miles from Manteca.

• California’s eastern most seaport - the Port of Stockton - is within 12 miles.

• access to Interstate 205 and the Bay Area markets.

•being equal distance - about 60 miles - from three major regional markets in San Jose, San Francisco, and Sacramento.
