2 food truck events set for this weekend in Manteca

There are two food truck events taking place this weekend in Manteca.

One takes place Saturday at Woodward Park and the other Sunday at the Christian Worship Center.

The Food Truck Frenzy & Movie Night at Woodward Park is on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Food trucks will start arriving at 5 p.m.

There will also be games, arts and crafts, costumed characters and live music followed by the movie Super Mario Brothers that begins at sundown.

The evening is a joint effort of the Manteca Recreation & Community Services Department and the Manteca Chamber of Commerce.

Then on Sunday, the Christian Worship Center, 786 Button Ave., is hosting food trucks following their morning service. The CWC Life event starts at 10 a.m. It also includes music.
