ATHERTON DRIVE EMERGING AS SOUTH COUNTY’S MAIN STREET
Current council delivering on long-envisioned regional commercial corridor boom built along the 120 Bypass
walmart field
Mayor Gary Singh, left, and Councilman Mike Morowit stand on the edge of the field where the 181,000 square-foot Walmart Supercenter is being proposed as part of a 44-acre shopping center on the northeast corner of Atherton Drive and South Main Street. The Atherton Arms apartments are on the horizon behind them.
