The vacant corner at Jack Tone Road and Canal Drive could soon welcome a new tenant.
A proposed 5,000 square foot area for a convenient market with eight fueling stations and a car wash will be part of a public hearing at tonight’s Ripon Planning Commission.
Galloway & Company, Inc. / Jack Tone Crossing Corp. is seeking a conditional use permit for the 1.7 acre, mixed-used site located at 710 N. Jack Tone Road.
Les Schwab Tire Center along with Tractor Supply Co. and Boat Country are among the businesses in this area just off the Highway 99 ramp on Jack Tone Road.
Commissioners, who will meet at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave., will also hold public hearing for Pereira Properties and Gregory R. and Donna L. Miller in care of HPG Ripon Development LLC to enter into a Development Agreement with the City of Ripon in order to annex, pre-zone and subdivide about 17.19 acres into 47 single family residential lots.
The project site is located in the northeast area of town at 22898 and 22874 N. Ripon Road.
