Trustees of the Ripon Unified School District are scheduled Monday to sign off on a pre-construction services agreement with CT Brayton & Sons, Inc. on the Career Technical Education Project.

That's a two-story building planned for Ripon High.

At the 7 p.m. open session in the City of Ripon Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave., the school board will look to approve a lease-leaseback agreement during pre-construction of the project with CT Brayton.

The agreement is not for design-build services.

The Escalon-based CT Brayton & Sons and RUSD have worked together on other projects in recent years including the modernization efforts at Colony Oak Elementary School.

In other agenda items:

  • Trustees will recognize the speech contest finalists who took part in 2021-22 RUSD event consisting of sixth- through- 12th- grade speakers.
  • Principal Dana Phelps of Ripon Elementary School will spearhead a presentation on the school.
