Kids explore the pumpkin patch at Dell’Osso Farms.

Come Monday morning the 15-acre corn maze at Dell’Osso Farms will disappear as harvesting equipment chops it stalk and all into silage for dairy cows.

But it is not until it has one last hurrah as part of the most unique Oct. 31 since 2020: The ability to savor all its attractions on Halloween which falls on a Saturday.

The 30th edition of the Lathrop attraction that is on target to end its month-long October run with more than 150,000 people visiting the farm wraps up today and Friday.

Saturday will have the normal weekend opening time of 10 a.m. with earlier closing with the last admission at 5 p.m. and everything shutting down at 7 p.m.

Based on the 2020 experience, the expectation is most people — but especially children — will be in costume.

After the 20 pus attractions are included with admission close for the year, Ron and Susan Dell’Osso are throwing a barbecue appreciation party for the 500 workers that helped create memories for families, couples, and friends.

More than 4 million people have visited the Dell’Osso Pumpkin Maze and the accompanying attractions such as apple blasters, haunted house, train ride, carousel, and more during the past three decades.

The low-tech attraction on Manthey Road off of Interstate 5 opens today at noon with today’s last admission at 7 p.m. with attractions starting to close at 8 p.m.

Admission is $$29.95 Friday and $34.95 on Saturday.

Parking is free.
