Paul Dean Wiemers was born August 24, 1935, in Palmer, Iowa, and peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2026, at age 91.

   A faithful member of United Lutheran Church in Manteca, Paul’s faith guided his life. He worked for Wells Fargo Bank, later preparing taxes in retirement. He enjoyed golfing and was blessed with many lasting friendships.  Above all, Paul was devoted to his family. He shared 70 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Edna, and cherished the family they built together.

   Paul is survived by his wife, Edna; sons Stuart (Lori) and Bryan (Dawn); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Perry Wiemers, and granddaughter, Devoree Wiemers Ankeney.

   A service will be held at United Lutheran Church in Manteca on Saturday, October 31, at 10:30 a.m.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Lutheran Church, Manteca, or a favorite charity.
