Farm Fest this Saturday at Delta College’s north Manteca campus

Delta College is hosting a Manteca Farm Fest at its hands-on agricultural learning center at 14095 Highway 99 West Frontage Road south of Lathrop Road near Perry & Son on Saturday, May 30, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The event — hosted in conjunction with the Delta College Foundation and Delta College — is designed to allow attendees to explore the Manteca Farm, learn about Delta College programs, and enjoy food, music, and family-friendly activities.

Admission and parking are complimentary. Food and beverages will be available to purchase.

Students work on the directly with crops, livestock, irrigation systems, and agricultural equipment as part of their coursework at the working farm.

The farm has 1,400 cherry trees on 10 acres, 33 acres of wine grapes, and 55 acres of almonds along with livestock programs.
