VINCE REMBULAT / The Bulletin From left, Lilia Morales, Arveen Birdi, A.J. LaFrance, Yvonne Wu, and Sheen Gupta will display some of the latest trends from Maurice’s at the Careers Technical Education Fashion Show at Manteca High on Saturday.

The Careers Technical Education Fashion Show is Saturday at Manteca High along the outdoor plaza at Garfield Street adjacent to Winter Gym.

Featured will be 80 models consisting of students and staff from MHS, East Union, Sierra High, and Lathrop High.

The CTE Careers with Children will also led a helping hand, working with the young “mini models,” according to CTE instructor Angie Anaya.

The annual Fashion Show will begin at 6 p.m.

Cost is $5 for general admission, $10 for VIP – those in the VIP section will be treated to snacks and hors d’oeuvres prepared special by the CTE Culinary students, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Proceeds will allow Anya’s CTE students to attend the annual Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandizing Fashion event in Los Angeles.

Her models were just fitted with newest trends at participating businesses such as Target, Old Navy and Maurice’s.

They’ll showcase those latest collections along with collections from the thrift stores, denim wear, cultural wear, monochronic (colors of the rainbow) and theater.

Also helping out with the Fashion Show will be the MHS Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, CTE Video Production, and the MHS Floral classes.
