The 21st annual Give Every Child A Chance Bowl-A-Thon will take place Saturday at Bowlero – formerly the Manteca Bowl – located at 1251 E. Yosemite Ave.

According to CEO / President Christina Keefhaver, this event is a major fundraiser for GECAC, bringing people of all ages to raise funds for a program that provides free help with school work while helping students build their confidence and self-esteem.

GECAC along with major sponsors such as Lathrop Chiropratic, San Joaquin County Office of Education, Chicken Ranch Casino, Schwartz Giannini Lantsberger & Adamson, Leprino Foods, NorCal Automation & Controls, The Cajun Spot, Oak Valley Community Bank, Center Appliance, Raymus Homes, TLC Real Estate, and Sheet Metal Workers’ Union Local No. 104 are looking forward to this event.

Included will be 44 teams for the first session – from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. – and 40 teams for the second session – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded to individual youth collectors along with those students who collect the most paid pledges and the overall highest collecting top team.
