Caroline Hutto will once again serve as president of the Ripon Unified school board.

“She did a great job (as board president) for this past year,” said Trustee Chad Husky at last Tuesday’s monthly session.

His nomination of Hutto as board president for another year was supported by his colleague Kit Oase.

Oase was tabbed as board vice president while Husky, who previously was vice president, moved over to board clerk.

Superintendent Ziggy Robeson will continue the tradition of serving as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees.

Trustee Vince Hobbs, who overwhelming won a two-year short term during the November elections – he was a provisional appointment to the board for the past year – was administered the oath of office by board President Hutto prior to the election of officers.

Trustee Christina Orlando and Hutto were unopposed during the recent general elections and were each automatically appointed to another four-year term.
