The Lathrop High Theatre Arts Department, in association with LHS Theatre Arts Booster Club, is working on ‘Who Dun in Prospector Pete?’
This improvisational performance will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Scott Brooks Gymnasium, 15777 Fifth St., Lathrop.
“We are expecting about 200 people for this Mystery Murder Dinner (that’s) being presented this one-time only,” said LHS Drama teacher Hali Rosen.
But first things, first.
She’s looking for actors, singers, dancers and anyone willing to “strut their stuff.”
Auditions for ‘Who Dun in Prospector Pete’ will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, inside the LHS theater – 647 Spartan Way – from 10 a.m. to noon.
“Bring your best western character accent and banter,” said Rosen, who indicated that no lines will be assigned for anyone to memorize.
There will also be one rehearsal prior to the Mystery Murder Dinner performance scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 24.
‘Who Dun in Prospector Pete’ promises to be fun for the entire family.
“This is going to a really fun Mystery Murder Dinner,” Rosen added.
Tickets are $20.
