Manteca Police are looking for information on this vehicle - described as a newer, burnt-orange Chevrolet - that crashed into the front of a downtown Manteca business earlier this month.

The Manteca Police Department is currently looking for any information that the public may have about a hit and run accident that occurred earlier this month that left a downtown Manteca business with a gaping hole in front of it.

On June 10th, shortly after midnight, a newer, burnt orange Chevrolet — possibly a Corvette or a Camaro — slammed into the front of a downtown Manteca business and then fled.

That business reportedly was a salon that was close to opening across the street from a popular downtown eatery. The vehicle nearly hit a worker contracted to clean the Downtown Manteca streets in the process.

Anybody with any information about the vehicle or the driver is encouraged to contact Officer Lopez at 209.456.8287.
