Sean Alman and Jack Skuller will celebrate the Everly Brothers Thursday for the opening on the 30th season of the Ripon Arts League.

The Ripon Arts League is celebrating its 30th season.

To mark this special occasion, the local nonprofit group promoting the arts will celebrate with a tribute concert of the Everly Brothers on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Performing will be the high-powered duo of Sean Altman and Jack Skuller, who’ll bring the technical bravado, humor and visual style of work made famous by Phil and Don Everly.

The Everly Set will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Ripon High Multi-purpose Room, 301 N. Acacia Ave.

Cost is a season membership of $50 with the Ripon Arts League, which will hold more concerts – five in all – and events throughout the season.

Among the playlist for the Everly Brothers tribute duo includes “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “All I Have to do is Dream,” and “When Will I Be Loved,” to name a few.

The Ripon Arts League was founded in 1993 by a group of community members with an interest of bringing a variety of musical performers to Ripon while promoting the arts.

The Folk Legacy Trio concert scheduled October was moved to April 4.
