RUSD hires additional Teachers & principal
Ripon Schools

When students of the Ripon Unified School District return to the classroom on Tuesday, Aug. 13, they could see some new faces.

That’s the first day of school. The RUSD recently welcomed some new teachers and one new administrator.

Park View Elementary School, as an example, has a new principal — James Schuller. He takes over from Eva Matthews, who is now at the District Office as the Program Manager.

Park View’s new teachers are Tracy Kyle-Hitchens and Kristina Ortega.

Deanna Duncan (school psychologist), Angela Barnes (speech pathologist) and Justin Mattiuzzo (occupational therapist) were among the recent hires at the District Office.

Ashlee Crider is a newcomer at Ripon Elementary School, where she will teach second grade.

Pamela Wilkins is at Ripona Elementary School as the Resource Specialist instructor.

At Ripon High, Danielle Hyatt was brought in as the new ag instructor while Chris Brown and Erin Paris are the new science and math teachers, respectively.

In addition, the Ripon school board changed the monthly meeting date, from Aug. 12 to this Monday, Aug. 5.
