The San Joaquin Council of Governments is offering residents throughout the county a ride voucher good for reduced prices for Uber trips.

The ride voucher is good for 2 Uber trips a day, $15 max per trip, in San Joaquin County. Just pay $1.50 copay for each eligible ride that day.

You pay the first $1.50 of your Uber trip cost, and the program will cover up to $15 of the remaining fare.

For example, if your trip costs $16.50, you pay just $1.50. If your trip costs more than $16.50, you are responsible for the remaining balance.

Here’s how it works:

*Enter code sjcog-vamos in the vouchers section of the Uber app.

*Request a ride.

*Max 2 trips per account a day.

*Valid for travel between cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. It excludes travel within a city.

*View your vouchers in your Uber wallet.

*Offer ends April 30, 2027.

If you don’t have the Uber app, download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
