Solicitors that periodically appear outside the Manteca Walmart on South Main Street are not collecting donations for the Manteca Boys & Girls Club as they infer or claim.

Boys & Girls Club Executive Jeanie Miller indicated no one is authorized to solicit for the club in front of stores or in parking lots. 

A number of individuals have shared with the club staff that when the solicitors are asked specifics about the Manteca club they will switch their story and say they are raising money for Tracy. Miller has confirmed with Tracy club representatives that is not the case.
