Congressman Jerry McNerney will hold a Congress at Your Corner to meet with his constituents on Monday, Dec. 21, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Manteca Branch Library.

“I am committed to meeting with residents throughout our community so that I can effectively serve and address the needs of my constituents,” said McNerney.  “I encourage people to come and share their thoughts and ideas with me.”

Congress at Your Corner is part of an effort to reach out to residents of California’s 11th District at places they already visit such as grocery stores, shopping centers and libraries.  In order to provide all participants at this Congress at Your Corner the opportunity to ask a question or share a comment directly with their representative, Congressman McNerney will meet with groups of people for 30 minute segments based on the order in which they arrive.

This Monday’s event will mark the 58th Congress at Your Corner hosted by the Congressman.  This year, hundreds of people have attended Congress at Your Corners to share their thoughts on a variety of topics and also to ask for assistance resolving issues with a federal agency.
