MODESTO –The Modesto Junior College presents {Furl} – an exhibition of photography by Brad Craw and sculpture by David Hewitt – open now through October 23 in the MJC Art Gallery on East Campus, 435 College Avenue. The show is free and the Gallery is open Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

A public reception with the artists will be held on Thursday, October 9, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Gallery. Refreshments will be served.

The work of both artists uses constructed and altered physical objects, tending to suspend form between familiar associations and more removed abstract potentials.

Brad Craw lives in Modesto and is a former professor of photography at Portland State University. David Hewitt lives in San Diego and currently teaches drawing, painting, and photography at San Diego State University.
